Top 10 List of Things I Learned in Shakespeare this Semester


  1. I learned what an Oedipus complex is and that it is sick and wrong!
  2. That Shakespeare was a pervert.
  3. That sugar blackened teeth and was seen as a symbol of wealth.
  4. There are lots of words that Sojin and I did not know the meaning of. And probably could have lived without knowing the meaning of.
  5. That both Garrett Jeffrey and Jacob have really good girl voices!
  6. That sharing journals is really fun and entertaining. There was a lot of laugh until you cry moments. 
  7. Shakespeare is actually understandable when you have an awesome teacher to explain it to you.
  8. That theater companies performed in London in the winter and spring and traveled during the summer to avoid the plaque.
  9. Elizabethan era food in general does not taste that good.
  10. Lastly, I learned how to blog and that it is bittersweet.
